What is Apapacho?
Apapacho is a Mexican word coming from Náhuatl native tongue. It means hugging with the soul. Care that you can feel. This is what we offer in every sip.
This is the spirit we pour into every batch of our cacao. Chocolate in Mexico is both social and everyday, it's a celebration and routine. Every cup of Apapacho is an invitation to pause, to feel, and to reconnect.
Sal y Chocolate crafted a delicious artisanally-made cacao from Mexico: Apapacho. Apapacho in Mexico is a warm, comforting hug. It's care that you can feel. This is what we offer in every sip.
We invite you to turn everyday moments into Apapacho moments
From Mexico, with flavor and care
Our premium cacao mass comes from farming families in the Chontalpa region, Tabasco, Mexico, and is processed by the artisanal Diaspora Chocolatería in Mexico City. Fermented and sun-dried, with rich notes of caramel and butter.
We work through trusted relationships with small-scale cacao farming families. We promote agroforestry practices. This ensures that most of the value stays in the country of origin.
